I posted this and my apologies, I got the title wrong. It is called, "The Genius Zone, The Breakthrough Process to End Negative Thinking and Live in True Creativity". I got it at the library and have really gotten a lot out of it. It's short and punchy too, which matches my reduced attention span in the age of screens.

Thanks for this. I just put it on reserve at the library.

Jen Sincero's You are a Badass.

Also Martha Beck's Finding Your Own North Star (as a PP had suggested).

I love this show (and like self-help, just never want to read "the book"). One of my top 3 podcasts (and I listen to a LOT).

I've read many of the heavy hitter books (Eckart Tolle, as an example) but right now, post Pandemic, with my brain not nearly as focused and my self-discipline to work shot, I am loving the Jen Sincero books. Just easy takes on more complicated theories, written in a fun and easy way, has helped me a lot.

Atomic Habits, Maybe You Should Talk to Someone, The Power of Moments (not self help exactly but very interesting, reflective, and inspiring imo)

I really liked Martha Beck’s book, How to Find Your North Star. It’s from the early 2000s, but still relevant!

Who is the author? I looked it up on Amazon and couldn't find it.
