I find this attitude so strange. Rapists also use cars and roads, of course hut no one complains about those.

I mean thousands of people take the metro to their jobs every day.


My guess is that a majority of criminals use cars, but OP's not complaining that roads are "the crime expressway."

Suspect was tracked via pics from metro. Maybe should have written came on metro from DC and returned to DC. And at the hotel pic. 8600 block of Westwood has access roads or driveways to 2 hotels and only 1 has that location for an address. The other one is a closed Sheraton -address route 7- closed and sold by Marriott.

So who wants to live in Tysons? That Sheraton was not really walkable to stuff and what's the vacancy rate on apts? Anything in the old Macys, LLbean?

That is CRAZY! Definitely a heads up to any females staying in hotel rooms alone.

And, why is this thread in Local Politics, versus in Off Topic? Is women's safety somehow a political issue? The more people made aware that this is a problem, the better, IMO.
