Your kid should probably be masking if they are that sick or staying home. That would be pretty bad to give it to another family, but clearly you don't care. Personally I'd rather not see you.

I probably wouldn’t make kids mask unless holding the baby, given that the parents don’t seem to care. I would test before hand, suggest opening windows, and not go if kids have symptoms or a known exposure.

It means mom is careful and if your kids are sick, stay home and covid test before seeing them. How is that hard to get?
