If you're not familiar with IB you may not be aware: the point is that the curriculum is held to a single standard: therefore, the class offerings are standardized.
But the true IB diploma courses don’t start until 11th grade. Does Kennedy use the IB Middle Years Programme for 9th and 10th, or is it a locally-created curriculum?

You seem to have a vested interest in discrediting the program. Why?
That was my first post on this thread, and it was a casual question, just out of curiosity. My kid is in a school with a non-magnet IB program, without any formal IB classes before 11th, so I wondered how the magnet IB schools handled it.
No defensiveness necessary—it wasn’t intended to discredit anything, and I don’t think it was disparaging, either.

RMIB has RMS English 9 - only open to magnet students, I think.
Honestly, I can't remember. It was virtual. I think it was called something, and I assume it would be the same, as that is the point of IB. It wasn't regular English, so yes, I assume it was magnet.
You could also go to Kennedy 's website and find the answer to this question there.

Sorry, I mean they did have extracurriculars last year, but our child didn't do them.
