Yet another vote for Macy’s Radley. Not the most stylish but very comfy and has withstood a ton of abuse from my kids and their friends over the years.

Warehouse showrooms in Alexandra - it’s in an industrial area, MUCH cheaper than the name retailers like crate & barrel, arhaus etc and similar quality.

We have the Macys Radley. It’s a workhorse. We are very happy 5 years in.

We bought one from IKEA (for the basement/TV room), 1 from Belfort in VA (living room), and 1 from Macy's (playroom/sitting room). The IKEA one ($400) is pretty uncomfortable but mostly it's the kids who use it and they don't care. The other two are fantastic. We paid about $1700 for the Belfort couch and $2k for the Macy's couch. We sat on a LOT of couches over a 3-month period before we chose them. And then we waited months for them to arrive. Everyone who comes over remarks on how comfortable they are. Hopefully they will also be durable!

Could you share the models that you bought at Macys and Belfort? IKEA too, helpful to know the uncomfortable ones as well!

Flexsteel

I know it is probably out of your price range, but consider this. We bought a really great, comfortable sectional sofa from Bassett Furniture for our family room in front of our big TV. We bought in 2008 and we used it a lot and in 2011, we had twins. Prior to twins, we entertained a lot, so it got a lot of use from home parties. The twins and their friends have used and abused this sofa a lot. They've had friends over for the last 4-5 years and they use the couch because the Nintendo switch is connected to that TV, so it is used frequently and roughly by a bunch of gradeschoolers through tweens.

Now, 14 years later, it still feels like new. We got microfiber cloth for the couch and that makes it very easy to keep clean. Things get spilled and a little rug cleaner and a damp cloth cleans it all up. Everything from red wine to ketchup to food has been spilled on this and I've been able to keep it clean. The cushions are still as soft and comfortable as they were 14 years ago. We spent $3000 on this sectional, but it's built to last and we don't foresee needing to replace it anytime soon. The previous couch, I had saved money and got a cheaper brand, but after 10 years, that was already feeling worn and by 14 years, it was ready to be replaced.

We have a Radcliff from CR Laine that is easily the most comfortable sofa I've ever been on, and the one the guests fight over. Unfortunately, they don't make it anymore, but their other sofas might be worth a look.

I've had my eye on the crate and barrel Lounge sofa for a while. I have friends who have it and it's very comfortable. I currently have a Jasper section from Room and Board and while it has held up very well and is the style that I love, it is NOT comfortable.

DO NOT BUY FROM LAZY BOY! My DH was hell bent on buying a sectional from there. I just wanted a new, comfortable couch for our family room. IMO it was outrageously overpriced, but DH was committed. First it took 9 months to "custom build" and now we're dealing with a defective back.

No way to get through to customer service on the phone, no response to emails and we've finally had to drive to the store. Big promises about follow up and huge apologies for the non-response. Guess what? Several days later and still nothing. I plan to drive over there this afternoon and let loose.

Macy's Radley number 1 sold sectional. Price point is good and people love it.

Just looked up the Sactional at Costco and almost fell out of my seat - I looks lovely but wow that is about 4x out of my budget! I bet it’s heavenly though
