If he’s such a terrible coach, and I ask this for parents who seem to complain about coaches across the board, then why not step up yourself if you think you can do better? For all these parents in here who CONSTANTLY berate coaches, who by the way are making MAYBE $2k a season for a 35 hour week, why aren’t YOU stepping up to the plate to coach? Try giving SOME reprieve to these coaches who are doing their damn best, but will be rediculed by parents who have NEVER played the sport, or who think they know better than the person giving their best. For the love!

Disagree, VC is not a good coach and doesn’t understand strategy on how to coach the glax game. Ask other parents why he got let go from the other programs he was at, then you will here the real answer

As for VC, he’s good at what he does and he’s willing to take the job. Coaches at the varsity level are not easy to find. You get paid pennies, you have to deal with parents who seem to know more and better than you and you have to try and get a team to gel.

As a coach I do not want to talk to the parents I want the girl to speak to me. She’s the player, she’s the one playing and she’s the one that has to put in the work. She isn’t playing as much as she thinks she deserves more time? It’s up to her to talk to me and not the parents.
If the parents have a question or needs info, shoot me an email or text. Do not come over to tell me how to coach, who to play or your thoughts on the team as a whole. I’ll listen but be aware, you’re not a player on my team and your opinions do not matter.

I can second that about the Langley coach, she has always been like that, but very unapproachable. It's pretty unfortunate that young ladies end up quitting or just not playing because of a coach. I hope the parents speak up at that program, or any program where there is someone like that.

That's unfortunate for everyone. Did anyone try to approach her with how the players were feeling? Or any team discussions with the coach to talk through it?
Based on the above, what about a sit down to discuss seems like a good idea? That lady wasn't hatched, she's been like that.

What makes him so terrible of a coach? Examples of what makes him a "ruin" to a program. Have you, or anyone else who seems to not like him, ever gone to talk to him about problems or just happy to type behind a computer and get others worked up.
