This is one of my favorite braised beef recipes. You can serve it over noodles or rice. Add a side of bok choy or Chinese broccoli (gai lan), and it’s fantastic!

My family devours this:

Cook a pound of macaroni.

Cook a pound + of ground beef. You can saute onions or garlic first if you like.

Drain the beef and stir it into the cooked pasta. Stir in a jar of your favorite tomato sauce. Stir really well to incorporate the sauce. If you want it saucier, add more from another jar.

Pour into a casserole dish. Top with shredded mozzarella, and a bit of cheddar or parm if you like. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.
