No, the issue is that they CAN place a 4th high school at Kenmore but WON'T.
The County hired transportation consultants that said it won’t work. And the neighbors said no way. So those are the groups you would need to convince.
Why do the neighbors get to vote? Seriously? And why is traffic so extra super bad around Kenmore? I call BS on the whole thing.
Do you regularly drive around Kenmore? Carlin Springs is a logjam. The only entrance to the school is off S. 2nd Street and it's a cluster generally.
Because it's on the Fairfax line, you need to involve them in making road changes. And Route 50 is governed by VDOT.

Probably cause AEM has become a cult of the six same people ganging up on everyone that disagrees with them. I’m torn. I wanted a fourth high school, but if I vote no, we get nothing?
This is not accepting the good while wanting the perfect.
This is the barely adequate and eliminates the bare minimum.
We need a 4th high school. When MM passes, it will mark an inflection point in the school population to astronomical levels.
Ok then shoot your self in the foot to save you from limping. I’m voting yes
If they don’t build a fourth high school, we will be going private.

Of course not. If the bond passes, that's their stamp of "community approval."
Behind the scenes, MAYBE some people will start expressing some minimal level of concern that the people are becoming disgruntled and on to them...
