I’m not sure who has a backyard wedding in Maine in October but it’s not someone focused on comfort so maybe you should wear a black puffy long coat - you’ll need it.

It’s in a backyard. With a fire pit. Pretty much anything other than jeans would be suitable and dressed up enough. I’d wear wool pants or a midi skirt, a fitted cashmere turtleneck, some heeled boots (not spike heel), and a nice trench if not too cold, otherwise a nice wool coat

The weather can vary wildly. Be prepared with layers. Gloves, hat, warm socks, undergarments. I was in Miami once in Thanksgiving it was 27 degrees. I was not prepared for that.

No, if she does this, it will definitely be in the 50s and sunny. Border seasons are unpredictable. Wear layers, OP. Thin long sleeved, sweater, nice coat. Shoes that will survive mud or slush.

If she lives in Maine, maybe she is used to the cold. I had a roommate from Alaska once, and she would wear shorts and a tshirt when it was 50 degrees out and be totally fine.

I'd wear black wide leg slacks, black cashmere sweater, and a colorful topper. Wedge shoe or boots.

Your outfit is fine, but doesn't seem appropriate for the weather. If you're okay with being cold I think your outfit works.
