No, he lives in Falls Church. Fox 5 has video of the incident and, at least in what we see here, it doesn't look like he put his hands around the guy's throat. Just pushed him a little.

Just pushed him a little is also called assault.
Possibly, but the original tweet says he "allegedly grabbed the victim by the throat". I don't see that happening in the video. I am not arguing that the guy shouldn't be charged, just that the reports of what happened should be accurate.
The tweet reported what the victim claims. How is that not accurate?
Obviously what the victim claims is not supported by the video. Instead of arguing with me, watch the video yourself and tell us what you see.
"allegedly grabbed the victim by the throat" -- It was alleged by the victim. Whether the video backs that up or not, it is the claim of the victim. The victim statement was reported. Are you calling the victim a liar?
All I am saying is that the video does not show the victim being grabbed by the throat. I am not sure why you are making an issue of this. Just watch the video for yourself. If you watch and think that it shows the deputy mayor grabbing the victim by the throat, come back an say so. Otherwise, you are just wasting time.
Do you know if the video shows the entire interaction? You seem to be making a lot of assumptions.
I have been very clear what I think. Watch the video yourself and draw your own conclusions.
I have watched the video. It does not show the beginning of the interaction. I think it’s premature to draw any conclusions as a result.

But either way, his temperament and the challenges the agencies he oversees have faced make me think Bowser should replace him.
