OP here. It’s an interesting point that they are luring me in with gossip in an attempt to move me politically. It would never actually shift my voting. But I can see how their content has subtly influenced my perspective on criminal justice, trans rights, etc. by spotlighting (rare) cases where common sense leans rightward. If I were 20 instead of 40 it might have a significant effect.
I reflexively opened it this morning. This is the type of story I love. Niche Euro stuff with old tidbits I’m too young to have noticed when they were news.
