It's a lighthearted way to make the point that a name that looks beautiful on paper may not be practical for real life.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Bryn yet. Love that name. You could also spell it with two nn as in Brynn.

I studied abroad in Wales. Meredith is a boys name in wales as and pronounced muh - reh - dith by Welsh speakers. The way we say it is Americanized.

I really like the name Anwen (pronounced ann-when).
