Not sure what school she currently attends, but apparently she has been expelled from 2 local area middle schools. She rode one of the morning school buses to NB.
That’s on McKnight. No security on school buses. In other school systems students are assigned to school buses and attendance is taken. A kid can’t just get on a random school bus like they canon Montgomery County.
I'd rather they focus their limited resources on education instead of turning schools into prisons to satisfy hardcore conservatives.

NB itself doesn’t notify parents of absences until after school lets out. You can check ParentVUE earlier if you’re concerned.

A long time ago Wootton HS allowed a person that was not a student in class for about 6 months.
This person went to classes and lunch and no one said a word.
This ended in a tragedy and not one teacher was fired.
MCPS 100% failed in this case.
