Dartmouth

Dartmouth or Stanford. Latter because I went to school in 90s and might have made a fortune if I had been in the Silicon Valley.

ND undergrad, then Dartmouth for med school.

Dartmouth. Went there for grad school and would have loved it for college (I didn't apply for undergrad).

USC (California)

Art school like RISD or some other artsy school SCAD or Cal arts

Middlebury -- I went to Barnard, but when I visited Middlebury with my oldest son, I somehow felt really comfortable and at home there. (BTW, DS chose University of Chicago, so . . . whatever.)

+1 for Princeton. For the attention given to students inside and outside the classroom. Very rigorous classes, but in the meantime lots of well-organized social activities outside the classroom. Beautiful campus is extra.

Tough to pick 1, but I'd probably go with somewhere in NYC

Yale for the residential college system!
