I went there as a child and remembering it was a bit outdated. I checked the decor and they have refreshed much either. I would love to bring my kids here because it was incredibly fun and you so get your own nanny. It was awesome but I also remember the drive out to the hotel was a little sketchy and I’m not sure it’s gotten better.

Do not want a 800 room Ibero star type place - doesn't have to be teeny but don't need like like 7 swim up bars or anything.
Priorities are zero entrance pool and nice beach, and bonus points for local feel/local foods and comfortable beds.
