Yes? PM of the UK is a woman and Germany was led by a woman for fifteen years. The EU is considered part of the G7 and is also led by a woman. All of these women are much more impressive than the not-yet-elected fascist who might run Italy. What is it about her you think people should be impressed by, compared to the women who have legitimate accomplishments and don’t release video of women being raped?


Yeah Ursula von der leyen seems like she needs more press.

Polished, High powered job and has 7 kids.

Impressive to manage to do both.

Merkel grew up in Liepzig and Putin was stationed at the Stasi HQ there when he was a low-ranking KGB officer. I suspect there is some animosity between Merkel and Putin.


Sorry I should have been more specific. I think Merkel scared Putin. Unlike the fascist in Italy we’re discussing.

In talking about her an Italian said that the only good thing about her is that she is an unknown entity and hasn't yet disappointed the Italians.
Migration is driving the right wing political agenda in Europe and will become even worse as climate migrants continue to push into European countries. The Italians fell for fascism before -- let them try again.
