I was a teen living in Paris at the time. It was an accident due to:
1. The chauffeur was under the influence.
2. No one was wearing seatbelts.
3. The paparazzis on motorbikes had provoked the car to speed past the speed limit in the tunnel.
4. It was at night, in a tunnel.

While some segments of the BRF may have felt some relief at her passing, I’m not seeing any evidence that one could use to come the conclusion that it was something other than a accident. What leads you to believe it was intentional, op?

I love it when the first sentence in a paragraph states a position, and the rest of the paragraph does its level best to contradict that position.

Accident. We know the driver was not expecting to work that night and had been drinking heavily.

We know the paps were following too closely, and that the specific tunnel in Paris was known to be a high accident location because it functionally "drops" in terms of elevation as you enter. So, if you enter at high speed (as they did), you catch air and lose control of the vehicle.

They wouldn't have been royal so why would "they" care anyway? Diana was a floozy at that point in her life making bad decisions. Like not wearing a seatbelt in speeding cars.
