I thought his little show of frustration was very amusing. The way he sort of bared his teeth briefly while tapping impatiently at the thing that someone quickly removed from the table.

If I were signing a bunch of paperwork on a tiny uncomfortable desk with an obnoxious pen that leaked everywhere, I too would probably get annoyed.

My experience with British men is they can be incredibly obnoxious. You need to deal with them firmly and not let them walk all over you. At least Charlie boy is sort of cute when he throws a fit.

I thought the pen thing was funny and a natural reaction, and doesn't mean much.

But unlike the Queen, I don't think Charles will keep his opinions out of things, and that ultimately will be his downfall (in popularity). I like that he's streamlining The Firm.

It's pretty incredible for someone my age (56) to think back on my high school prom in California, which was during the height of the Lady Diana phase, (the taffeta prom dresses were all bows and ruffles), and speculating about the future King Charles and Queen Diana....and here we are, 1/2 of it finally happening...just NOW. Crazy.

Eh, my parents of the same age have less ability to manage day to day stresses now as well. I think it’s normal with that age group. Honestly, the stuff that stresses my parents or in laws out is pretty silly so I can see a pen getting to him. Obviously not great behavior befitting a monarch though.

A lot of monarchs are dicks, I'd say this is pretty par for the course.

Henry VIII would have had someone thrown in the Tower over this.
