NP but to answer your question -- my DC got accepted to Pitt A&S -- received an email notification this morning to check the portal
When did DC apply? Is it taking 4-6 weeks right now to get a reply?
Applied on Aug 1. And to answer the question right after - applicants self-report grades through the SRAR platform (DC used an unofficial transcript from school coordinator) and then later have to submit an official transcript. Reported SAT through College Board
I'm the poster who asked. Thank you! I had heard of that but wasn't sure what it was. Appreciate it.
They don't ask you to report grade for each classes, just what classes and if it's weighed or not. You just to report gpa. This is from their website, not common app.

And not all schools require Letters of Rec. Pitt did not require across the board but did say at the info session that rec letters may be requested of any applicant during the review process
