Overzealous progressive council and AG have to go after 'ThE BilLioNAIrEs!!!' with flimsy charges that Sailor will hire a good accounting firm to absolutely own Racine anyway.
Meanwhile, the AG does nothing on the out of control crime in DC and is allowing so many violent miscreants to walk the streets with no punishment because in the city govt's perverted world view it is some kind of progressive/restorative justice.
AGAIN, complain to the US Attorneys Office.

People would recognize him on the street. If he was actually living here for more than half the year, it seems like a whole lot of people would know and it wouldn't take ten years to figure out. And he has a home in Miami Beach. I like D.C. and all but most people would consider living in Miami Beach to be far preferable to living here, and not simply because Florida doesnt have an income tax.
This is from Racine's press release:
The complaint includes detailed allegations that Saylor was physically present in DC for most of each year, despite claiming to be a Florida resident—including allegations detailing flight logs from MicroStrategy’s corporate jet and location-tagged social media posts. The whistleblowers’ complaint also alleges that Saylor openly bragged to friends and acquaintances about evading DC taxes and encouraged others to follow his example.

Doesnt even really pass the laugh test, does it? I mean, do we really think Saylor encourages other people to avoid DC taxes? What? This is Racine's MO. File big showy lawsuits against famous people and then watch them go down in flames. He should focus less on filing frivolous lawsuits against Mark Zuckerberg or Vladimir Putin or whoever else he reads about in the paper and do things that actually matter to DC residents.
You seem to be reaching to make this lawsuit appear silly. Rich people talk a lot about avoiding taxes and look to Florida not only for lack of state income tax but also the unlimited homestead exemption on expensive houses. This lawsuit is obvious because a blowhard like Saylor running his mouth about tax evasion will eventually have someone blow the whistle.
Is someone using homestead exemption on a Florida home public record?

Major cities don't have the resources and manpower to audit people for local taxes.
