You should pick TJ and VA for better in-state college options

In addition as previously mentioned: the universities - so many better options in VA…and UVA is hands down more prestigious than UMD college park.

We are moving into the area and can settle in either state, within boundaries to make an attempt to get in.

I think this is fuzzy math though. Blair kids are selected from much smaller area than TJ - which covers much larger area/kids. One could argue, 500 kids (or whatever the number) from much larger student body has more higher caliber kids than 500 kids from much smaller area.

7:58 here who picked TJ but this is so true at least here on DCUM. TJ parents (along with UVA boosters) are off the chart crazy here.
I wonder if your impression might be a result of TJ being about 5 times the size of Blair?
PP you are responding to. Maybe, I just don't know. Maybe VA folks love their schools more than MD folks.

That is such a PC thing to say. I clap you.
And yet so vapid, especially when describing what is essentially a school within a school.
