Yeah, sorry they’re lying to you. They probably just don’t know what to say When they see that colorful frumpiness, so they default to a compliment.
Why on earth would someone give an unsolicited comment on an outfit they don’t like, and say they like it? Just don’t say anything. I would never do that. If you do that PP just stop.
Complimenting someone’s outfit when you actually hate it can’t really be a thing can it???

NP here…. I have one and I absolutely adore it. People always stop me and ask were I got the dress when I wear it. It is sooooo comfy, too!

I have several. My favorite is a batik in subtle colors - navy and off white - easier to wear for me than the louder prints. Great quality and l like the shape.
