Best lasagna I ever had came from the Italian Store in Arlington. Not catered— you cook it yourself, but almost as easy. I think you have to order ahead.

I’m the person who suggested the Stouffers; that’s a bummer they changed the recipe (I’ve never actually had it).

Also, OP, I know you said you ruin boiled eggs and sometimes life just needs catering but the Six Ingredient Solution (an America’s Test Kitchen title) has a lasagna that I have liked to make. And it’s noodles, jarred pasta sauce, Italian sausage and cheeses. It’s literally just assembling.

Op here, and this is a great idea. I found one via Mama Lucia, but it cost $135 which is way more than I want to pay.

I used to do this too. They changed the recipe and I don't like it anymore.

apparently you can request someone makes you a lasagna, and they will deliver it. It can be for a hunger issue, a family issue, or just a "I am hungry for lasagna" issue. My sister now makes one every now and then and will deliver it to someone.


We did this once. The lasagna we received was huge and generous and unfortunately not to my family’s liking. It turns out that there are many ways to make lasagna, not all with a red tomato based sauce.
