Not super kid-friendly, but I've taken kids without issues. Food is amazing.

Please don't bring your kids to IL Pizzico. It's a white tablecloth/fine dining restaurant with excellent Italian food and homemade, delicious pasta, but is not a place for children.

Are we talking about the Il Pizzico in the strip mall on the edge of Rockville? It's in a strip mall next to the Rockville Psychic FFS.

I like the decorations at Filomena. But I’ve only gone for holidays and not sure about kid options there but it’s very entertaining to look at.

Mia’s in old town Alexandria is yummy, kid friendly and right on the water in old town so it’s a nice spot to take out of town guests. I would then follow up with ice cream across the street at Pops and stroll along the waterfront and people watch. Lots of families there nightly.
Lena’s in del Ray neighborhood is also yummy and the tent area they theme out is cool.

+1. There’s a kids menu. It’s a nice “quiet” place so no screaming and running around.

So many Italian restaurants to choose from hence recommendations appreciated. Looking for good chicken parm for kids and Cesar salad.

Hate to be THAT poster: Chicken Parm and Caesar salad are not Italian dishes, so you can’t find a really good Italian restaurant that serves those. Old school trattoria/red sauce joint that is decent and family friendly, yeah.

Pre covid we took my kid to sfoglinas and they had a cute color book and were very kid friendly.
