Hell no. I don't need her in my order history, or viewing my lists. My DH doesn't even see that stuff.

You can share Prime benefits with her without giving her your password. Or, she can send you the item to order and pay you back. If she says no to those options, SHE WANTS TO SNOOP.

NO-$25 is the magic point for those who do not pay for prime to get free shipping. Since that is a fact she wants the log in and password for some other reason. Many people have the 5% cash back Amazon chase visa. And only use it on Amazon and Whole Foods. Might as well give her a credit card log in. She likely wants to add Amazon to her tv.

Recently have been getting Amazon phishing texts- say account is compromised and have a link. Others have gotten them as well so accounts are on double verification- so say no to MIL.


$25 is free shipping but it's no longer free 2 day shipping.

I came here to share this nugget of information. I would not give anybody my Amazon password and we already share the membership with both sets of parents but they do not have our password.

If she wants something w free shipping, call us and Venmo us and we’ll send.

If it’s too frequent, she should get her own Prime account or use Target online shopping

Is she aware that if she spends $25, she receives free shipping? I am not a Prime member so I keep a running list of potential items to avoid shipping charges. IF I need something fast, I send a link to my DS who is a Prime member and pay him back. I would not give out my password.
