I agree that the roll-out of this announcement could be better. I just realized that our elementary school has not even announced an Open House! I mean, if it going to be done, it would be nice to let parents know so they can plan accordingly.

So I guess I will keep checking ParentVue with the rest of you.

Agree, such a bad way of announcing class assignments.

It's not a "homeroom" teacher for ES, it's the classroom teacher.

Correct. But principals should understand that distinction and be aware of which stuff parents are currently allowed to see.

I take some comfort that the principals are equally confused as the parents regarding this and lunch accounts.

At our principal’s zoom Q&A yesterday, they said class lists will be printed and posted at the school on Friday for the open house. For those who can’t attend, they were instructed to call the school on Friday to get the assignment. Seems like I’m 2022 there should be a more efficient way to do this, but I dunno. Well yeah that just means they haven’t been released to parents. But when the principal tells parents to check Synergy, they mean ParentVue.
