The answer for all of you is nothing. The DGA ran ads showing that one of the candidates who was likely to win and face their nominee was Trumpy and extreme. There was no meddling or interfering, they just ran some ads. If Republicans were susceptible to that advertising, then that's on them. Schulz seemed pretty sane, but that's just not what Republicans want.

Stop saying the Democrats made the Republicans do it. Peroutka won my similar margins as Cox over a similarly sane R to Schulz with zero meddling.

I’m not saying they made them do anything but they did interfere.

I still don't think they interfered or meddled. I'd say it was more of a strategy - after all, the ads disclosed who was paying for them. I just think it gave Republican voters a chance to show us who they really are, which is of course Trumpy idiots.

Also, I don't like this strategy for the Democrats - if the governor race was Moore vs Schulz, at least we'd be assured that the winner would probably be sane. So even though Cox should lose by a lot, I just hate that there's even a small chance he could win, because you just never know.
