It’s lovely but so cold. I remember our hotel was cold and everything was cold. We walked a lot and froze.

I’d wait - your kids won’t remember

I’m British and I avoid going in the winter. There is so little daylight. It gets light about 8:30 am and it starts getting dark at 3:30pm in the afternoon. In between many days the fog doesn’t lift and it’s drizzly and gray. You can go without seeing sunlight or even blue sky for weeks. If you have a kid who naps that takes you even more of your daylight.

Go in May or June instead, it’ll be lovely.
