I don’t understand this obsession people have with making desserts less sweet. Just have dessert less often instead of trying to make dessert healthy; it’s sad.

It’s some weird version of virtue signaling or something. Just ignore it.

This.

Why do you need the health department to inform that you shouldn’t eat stuff that tastes like crap/.

Love Georgetown cupcakes. My boss brings them to the office once a month, always popular.

I’ve always gotten GC for events. It’s mainly the presentation. Most people don’t actually take a cupcake, snd some that take onr don’t eat it.

Nothing Bundt. Ames, though! Their little bundtinis are heavenly; and I personally don’t love anything too sweet.

Me! I was a student at Georgetown when they opened their original location and have been going since day 1.

Me! And Sprinkles too. We’ve been going before they moved to the larger location.

The “our family” lady shows up on every cupcake thread. I wonder what her kids would say about cupcakes.

We do! We don't live in DC but we pass by every day to get kids to/from school. I pick up their cupcakes pretty frequently. Baked & Wired is good, too, however the parking is tough, which is totally weird since GC is right on M but it is what it is. I also get the GC cupcakes for tailgate events at our college students' schools. The cupcakes are always a hit.
