I love being able to see what my ES kid’s classroom looks like. I love being able to see where she sits. It’s nice to see what the MS and HS look like. And most importantly, to meet the teacher and other parents IN PERSON.

No good reason to make BTS night virtual this year. Our turnout last year for Virtual was abysmal.

You sound stable. So

Normally not a big fan of virtual, but would strongly prefer BTSN to be online. So much more convenient. The in-person version is so crowded, uncomfortable, and brief. Nobody seems to want to linger.

Having to contend with the hundreds of parents who show up in person is a hassle for many parents. Add trying to find a parking spot anywhere near the school and we are perfectly happy doing it virtually. There are also parents who can't even get to the school for various reasons including childcare, work schedules, back to school traffic in this area etc., At the very least, virtual should be an option.

Virtual btsn was a mix - nice I didn’t have to drive. But missed a quarter of the classes due to teachers who didn’t set up the calls correctly. That was disappointing.

Yes, thank god.

Why thank god? What a waste of everyone’s time. Covid brought to light some good things virtual can provide and that includes back to school night and parent teacher conferences.

+1. Yes, tell us why thank god? Ours has announced the date and that it will be in-person. I do hope they change it to virtual. No need for it to be in-person.

BTSN should be virtual

Isn’t that normally the case, unless the PRA arranges babysitting for kids under 12?

I hope they continue to provide virtual option because it's so much more convenient, but for the near future with vastly more contagious strais of this virus that has killed millions, virtual is the only sensible option.

Also, attendance was higher doing it virtually the last two years.

Yes. Assuming in person, though lots of people are hoping for virtual or hybrid.

Yes, CCES sent it out in communications earlier this week.

Yes, but only 1 out of 4 of the schools has given a date.
