OP here. I forgot to add U Rochester. Any thoughts on that or any others on my initial list?

To an earlier PP, I am not asking about whether this is the right path for my kid. That is up to her. Would appreciate not questioning her competency and just providing feedback on programs. thanks.

I don't think this is a good way to approach life. Adhd can people excel everywhere. Fields like engineering need the inspiration! Also, if the kid is already excelling in an engineering program, why question her ability. The problem is not in succeeding but in terms of learning environment.

Thanks. I hear you on Purdue, but I don't think she wants to be in Indiana. Is there a lot of support for women there? She is loving Society of Women engineers at her HS.

I won two awards from SWE at Purdue in the 80's, so yes.

Lafayette is probably the least party type of the three. Many Lehigh and Bucknell students are drunk at least 3-4 nights a week.

Which is honestly pretty impressive for a bunch of Engineering students trying to overcome grade deflation

As someone who fit this profile, I bet the partying comes from the business school which comprises over 30% of undergraduates.

Pitt seems to have a wonderful fun, lively campus atmosphere but I’m only judging from the vibe on the tour and from visiting Pittsburgh. I think Purdue should be on your list.

I think it's a 4-1 program.

They have a 3-2 dual-degree program with Columbia. It's an amazing program where a student receives a liberal arts BA degree from Barnard AND an engineering BS degree from Columbia Engineering.

I went to Florida Institute of Technology. My boyfriend at the time was an Electrical Engineering student. He want to Ga Tech for his Masters. He told me how grateful he was that he went to FL Tech for his Undergrad instead of GT. He said how much the students and professors helped each other. They really wanted everyone to succeed.

I loved my time there.
