I had the willow. It was okay and worked well on long car rides. However, it has a lot of small parts that need to be very specifically and carefully cleaned. You would either have to take it totally apart and scrub it before your second pump or you can put some of the parts in the fridge, which willow advises will ruin the pump. You need to measure your nipples and purchase inserts to prevent your nipples from being damaged, and apparently the insert sizes are different from other pumps. Your body needs time to adjust to the pump, which uses different suction than other traditional pumps. I found all of this really overwhelming at a time when I was already stressed and exhausted. There is a Facebook group called Willow Pump User Support Group where women and lactation consultants chat about issues related to the pump. It was helpful when I first bought it but then it just made me tired to look at, so I left.

honestly, it's just something you get used to. ultimately I had to wean earlier much earlier than I wanted, but once I got the hang of pumping on the commute with a wearable pump it was no more annoying than pumping during the work day

Fair enough. I think I also had a harder time pumping in general than others, even with a private office. I was never able to work while pumping, for example. I certainly wouldn't have been able to drive while pumping.

I have the newer Willow GO and found it to be much better than the Elvie for me personally but I am also small chested.

My friend had a huge supply dip while using the Willow pump.
