I would consider myself populist right but got faith and flag conservative- probably because even though I am not religious or go to church, I think society could benefit from promoting religious/family values.

It isn't really that I "both sides" any individual issues. It is that I don't have views on ALL issues that fall squarely in line with the dogma/platform of one party. Apparently that is verboten.

I got Progressive Left but I don't consider myself THAT much to the left, so I was a bit surprised.

Having lived all over the world--in both sh**hole countries and several European countries--my measuring stick is always the policies of European countries. By their standards, I don't even think I would count as left--probably more like center. I do think that some of the European countries go overboard with certain social benefits.

Same. But the questions are too generalized. For example, the prison question- most people end up getting too much time and/or the sentences are based on judicial preference and therefore, unfair as outlined in the book "Noise". In general, white collar crimes get way too lenient of a sentence. White rapists, predators, DV, etc. all get less jail time compared to minority counterparts. So MOST people in jail have too much time for their crime (because most are minorities) but there are definitely people getting off without serving any time and they need to serve a substantial amount of time. See Brock Turner and many others.

As for bigger government, I do want accountability for services.

Me too. I am very optimistic about the future. We are having some economic shifts right now with globalism ending. It will get sorted out. I look forward to less consumerism (and trash it generates).
