Post-apocalyptic tale of a woman who survives a catastrophic event that wipes out most people and contaminates the land/water but doesn't touch her family's farm. She finds Ejiofor, a scientist that has survived, and later Chris Pine shows up.
There's a little too much love triangle going on, but overall solid performances. It's a slow burn and you really don't know how it's going to end.
I feel like Margot Robbie is so gorgeous that her talent is overlooked. She's really good in this as an earnest, naive, grieving small town farm girl.

I watched this movie so many times. I watched it first with my dad, probably when I was 13. Incredible.
+1 - I LOVE this movie. I am a little surprised to see it classed as under the radar, but that's probably accurate.
One of my favorite films. I've had it on DVD and Blu-Ray, but it was finally available streaming in the last 6 months to a year. So many great performances. Christian Bale is just phenomenal, Malkovich is also great, and there are a lot of other wonderful appearances in this movie. Highly recommend.

+1 for Amelie. Also suggest Girl With the Pearl Earring

Under the radar? it had a $10M budget and made $174M at the box office when it came out.
