Claire and Don's in Falls Church have great hush puppies.

They also have a sandwich called The Redneck Falafel. It is hush puppies (instead of falafel), cheese, pickles, lettuce, some green sauce (maybe Green Goddess?) on a roll.

It is well and truly delicious.

I'm Canadian too and came here to say A&W onion rings are the very best!! I like the seasoning, but yes they are salty and tasty!

I prefer onion rings to fries but I am an onion ring snob, so I don't eat onion rings from just anywhere.

Are those real onion rings? I do not like it when I order onion rings and its just minced onion/onionpowder batter shaped into an O and fried.

All of these places have actual onions and not the cheap minced stuff of Burger King.

Wasn't it Chesapeake Bay Seafood House?

For me that’s a YES.
