Love the charger plan and will set up specific meeting spot. Parents will probably get a drink nearby for the last hour.
My 16 yr old is going to Lamar too. What’s a charger plan?

At 15, I went to see Janet Jackson with a 15 yo friend in matching outfits.![]()
My mom dropped us off at the stadium, and picked us up (pre-cell phone!) at the allotted time, at the allotted place.
The earliest I went to a concert without a parent was 10, with a friend, a 14 yo cousin, and a 17 yo cousin.
What do you all think happens? Are your kids not responsible? Do they not follow directions?
They get trafficked.

Seeing TXT tonight? I’m going to watch online.
The teens I'm with are into more hardcore rock / punk music, much to my dismay, so we will probably be seeing Turnstile (from Baltimore!) which is same time as TXT.

I'm glad to have the experience of going to this concert with him and to be able to talk through some safety/ security issues as they arose (from people offering drugs, mosh pits, pot smoke being blown in face, someone passing out next to us at Metallica). I do think after this experience together, I feel confident in him navigating the next concert on his own and I will thankfully never be subjected to heavy metal music again.
