I hope you are never in the hospital and need any nursing care in the ICU. Jerk.

I know it’s not an Ivy League school, but I thought I got a pretty good education and really made some great friends and contacts.
What is the perception of this school? I hope people will consider it as a good and affordable college option despite it not being a top rated school.

I think it may be between JMU and GMU, actually
According to the 2021-2022 Common Data Set for both schools, the 25-75% range for SAT scores at JMU is 1150-1300, while at Towson it's 1050-1210. (Percent of students submitting SAT scores is about the same.) And for what it's worth - which may not be much at all - Forbes ranks JMU #96 and Towson #197.

Yes I know it’s not high ranked and outside the dmv people have never heard of it. But in state was important to us for $ and she didn’t have the grades for UMD.
