This weekend will be in the 60s both mornings! See you all on the trail!

I was wondering if the break in weather would help me this morning - minimal, minimal. Still seemed like such a slog. Or, perhaps I'm just still out of shape.

You're a rockstar!

Side note:

Who are you crazy people running at 11am in full sun?!

I did 2 straight and 2 intervals at 6 this morning, and I feel spent. I don't understand how people run in the middle of the day - in full length leggins and short sleeves, no less!

My DH's favorite time to run is in the summer at peak heat in the middle of the day. He loves how much he sweats. I will never understand it.

I ran once at noon on a typical DC summer day and I sweat almost 4 lbs. Got home and had to sleep the rest of the day because I was so dehydrated. It's not for me. I'm a night time runner.

Me, I was so excited to get out there as it was not 1000 degrees with 10000% humidity, yet I had my worst time (and distance) in awhile. Sigh. There is always tomorrow!

I see people running at noon every day. I barely can finish my run at 5-6 am it is already so humid. I don’t understand why you’d do that if you have flexibility in your work day, which I assume they do because they are home at noon

Well I don't run outside generally but I am prepping for an outdoor 10k in a couple weeks and can now run over an hour without walking at pace! Pushed my speed a bit today on and off and ran for about 50 minutes and knocked out a bit over 4 miles. Woohoo!

Two years ago jogging 5 minutes at 4mph was a struggle! Look at me now!
