Are you under the impression that it’s just someone pushing a button and anyone with a pulse can fix the problem? I’ll give the NVSL more credit and guess that they have tech savvy volunteers but the problem isn’t something they can fix.
Maybe YouTube is a better streaming platform than Facebook. We didn’t have many issues streaming PVS meets on YouTube. Facebook seems more problematic.

Boys 15-18 IM is already down to 27. And I recognize one name now 'IN' who is swimming Futures (and so will scratch...) I'm sure there are still scratches coming.
Now down to #33 for the last guaranteed spot in the Boys 15-18 IM.

Has the swimmer personally told you they are going to scratch? My DS was hoping he would get to swim last year - he was around 26th in his event for 15-18 boys and we "knew" that a couple of the swimmers above him were on the Futures psych sheet. The swimmers we thought would have scratched returned home early to swim at All Stars. It's amazing how important NVSL All Stars is for even the nationally ranked super stars. Yes, many of them do scratch out of All Stars, and others manage to do both - swim at Futures and make it back in time to swim at All Stars.

Yes they receive a patch and a ribbon if they show up at the meet even if they don’t swim.
This. But they need to show up at the meet AND go down when the swimmers go down. They wait on the side while the group of kids swim, are included in the pic for the year and receive the ribbon. Patches may be given out even if they don’t show by the team reps.
