What about a gift card to Goldbelly? The opportunity to choose from such a wide variety of food options feels extravagant, and might be more fun for the kids than Amazon. Goldbelly offers more than enough variety to accommodate everyone’s food preferences since they can pick from multiple restaurants or shops if they’d like, or splurge on a meal for everyone from an out-of-town restaurant option.

OP here. Thanks for the great ideas! Leaning towards Door Dash or group of gift certificates to places I know they like. I’m struggling with logistics on the gift cards. We live in DC, and they’re in the Midwest. I can scroll through fb and find restaurants they’ve been to and buy gift cards online for those, but …. Forwarding a pile of email gift cards that arrive at slightly different times feels very un-gift-like. Is there a way to pull that off from a distance that’s not clunky?

Please NO gift cards. You get a stack and it hands to whittle down. You forget to use them. They go unused. You use 90% of them, then have a drip more to try to remember to use another time. Honestly, the gift cards are way over used and thoughtless. Just send cash then. Please.
