Okay, so I was immediately offered a full refund or credit. I wanted the refund. But it was super loud/busy when I called and as I was giving him my credit card info, the phone disconnected. Called back and no answer. So I called back Sunday. Then I received a call back late this afternoon. They couldn't just reverse the charge, they needed my credit card number - twice. In sum, it took far more effort than it should have for this credit to go through. I have now cancelled the credit card and ordered a replacement.

Seriously, they may refund you but it's 50/50 in our experience. We've learned to check everything before leaving the premises.
Stopped eating at Wendy’s years ago when twice at two different locations the sandwich had no meat. Orders burger and got home to only a bun w fixings.

This happened to me recently. The restaurant omitted something large. We called but we weren't going to drive back. They gave us an IOU for another free meal equal to what we ordered. They were very nice and wanted to make it right.
Please don't trash them on Yelp until they've had a chance to remedy the situation. Mistakes happen

You paid for a product you did not receive. Whether or not you find the substitute palatable or edible is really not at issue here. Call the restaurant. If they don’t credit or comp you, then yes, you can call your credit card. Or leave a review that will get a manager’s call.
