I drive high mileage. So lack of infrastructure and time are two significant issues. Things are improving.
Concerns about reliability. The Mach E, for example, has a software glitch right now that makes it randomly accelerate. And I have heard from two friends that they randomly decelerate and can't figure out why.

I know how combustion engines work. I will need to better understand electric engines before I trust them at 60mph.
So, maybe 5 years from now, if things keep improving.
