K-cups all taste bad and are wasteful.
In the warmer months I make my own cold brew and keep a jug in the fridge. It saves me a lot of time and money!

Hmm, you may be on to something. I will look into this. And I know exactly what you mean with not budging on your requirements. I found the Dunkin swirl flavors on eBay that I like so I purchased one earlier and plan to replicate it from home.
I'm shocked that grounds is the consensus so far. Kpods are a lot more expensive so I assumed the flavor was more robust. Glad I asked first.
