Among the problems with Riemer’s negative campaign is that the attacks miss Elrich but land on Blair. People know Elrich because he’s held office for 16 years and was active in the community before then. Love or hate Elrich, you know him. Not as many people know Blair. The negativity makes Hans an unattractive candidate, so attacking Blair just helps Elrich. As Riemer’s 12 years in elected office come to the end, Riemer’s lasting legacy will be helping Elrich get another four years in office. Great work, Hans.

I was suspicious too. And voted for Elrich last time because of it. Huge mistake.
Trone did the same thing, and he seems to be doing well as a Congressman.
REALLY a huge mistake 4 years ago because Blair lost by 77 votes.
I supported Rose Krasnow in 2018. my husband & neighbor both said I was throwing my vote away, but I really liked her. Shit, I wished so bad I could have undone my vote after the results were announced. I think I could have found another 76+ people in her camp who would have done the same.

3rd. Place. Every. Poll. You’d think that he’s get the hint?
But if you are waiting on Riemer to do the right thing you’d be waiting a long time.

I called his office once -- got voice mail -- and asked someone to call me back about an important issue. No response. This is a COUNTY representative. Even a state congressman should be responsive to constituents. But on a county level -- nothing? Really?
I will not be giving him my vote. Hopefully someone else will feel they should be responsive to their constituents, at this low level of government.
Obviously you get to use your vote as you see fit. If I had a vitally important issue that I wanted to discuss, I probably would have sent an email and called again, particularly if the call was made during a pandemic. My goal would have been to successfully communicate regarding my issue. I can’t imagine deciding not to pursue it — and seething publicly— after leaving a random VM message, that may or may not have been accurately received.
I hope that whoever gets your vote is indeed as responsive as you would like them to be.
I didn't leave a random VM. I called and left a specific message and requested a call back. Are you saying his office may or may not be receiving messages from constituents, who knows? That's ridiculous.
And I am not seething publicly -- I'm posting on a thread about his chances of reelection. I explained why I won't be voting for him again.

I don’t think any pills can be trusted.

People living in their progressive bubbles don't seem to realize how much many "regular" Democrats hate Elrich. Now, whether they get out to vote or not, I have no idea. So far early voting has been very light.
What’s a “regular “ Democrat?
Liberal but not progressive.
