I agree. AF1 are bulky and don’t flex when you walk. I do agree that Birkenstocks may not be the optimal choice either.

Also agree. I love Birks but never to work. AirForce one is ridiculous. They’re for tweens & teens.

I wear jodhpur boots most of the year, alternating with loafers. Donald Pliner loafers are my current favorites, but I usually just see what’s available at Nordstrom’s Rack in black, in my size, and go from there.

Cariuma IBI low sneakers are super comfortable (cork insole) and you can wear them in hot weather. I always get compliments when I wear mine.

I typically wear Sam Edelman flats because they are comfortable. I have them in several colors.
