I don't consider it a luxury SUV because that's a brand determination. But I'm well aware it's a very expensive SUV and I think it's a little strange you're so surprised. Wait until you find out what pickup trucks can cost.

I'm in my 50's and have only ever bought one brand new vehicle. It wasn't bought for status, I just felt that I work hard and deserved to treat myself for once in my life. I've had the vehicle for 7 years now, no regrets.

I like the look of the Range Rovers but sadly, they're not big enough for me. I buy an SUV I want space, it's just a personal preference.

A base model bare bones Chevy Tahoe is 70k.

Did you know GM is planning a top of the line Cadillac that costs $300,000.

Several GM models currently out the door are $100k

OP said this rig “looks like a Tahoe” apparently not realizing what a Tahoe costs.


Also not realizing that they’re variations of the same vehicle and that Chevy and GMC are both GM companies.

Ironically, those small Porsche SUVs were an intentional cash grab to subsidize the cars that the company actually wants to produce.

We have a deposit on a Porsche SUV that cost less than this. We looked at Jeeps that were more expensive than the Porsche. What are perceived as luxury brands aren't actually that expensive compared to the big trucks and SUVs that are popular today.

I could see this SUV in white color and in Fla neighborhoods. That front grille is a bit much, of course some might like that look.


Lots of people with money outside of the coasts prefer Denalis to large Mercs or BMWs. A spec'd out Denali costs the same and fits in better with the oversized Luxury pickups
