I don’t understand how you can be so shameless and low class that you would wear these disgusting things in public letting all the dirt and germs go all over your feet and toes. Not to mention nobody wants to see your feet. The beach, I get it. But in public, during the week, walking around dirty streets, running errands, on an airplane, and out to eat — nasty as hell.
Do you hav3 the same problem with sandals?
Higher-end sandals which secure the foot aren’t as trashy. A $5 pair of flip-flops in the city is like walking around barefoot. It’s just so gross. I’m addition, trashy and shameless. Like you’ve just given up, if you ever had any shame in the first place.

If you're this grossed out by Americans maybe you should leave.
