I’ve been going it for years and I hate the way it looks for the first 2 days or so. Then it settles and looks more natural. In my case I don’t brush them all the way up, but I do the arch, and the effect is like a brow lift
Just hang in there!
OP: it helps to hear that it settles down after a few days- thank you! How long does it take to wear off totally for you?
It’s totally gone in 6 weeks. I usually go 8 weeks between treatments so my brows get a rest.
Truly the main thing is once they settle after a few days you should be able to brush them into any shape you want - they don’t have to look like the brow pics that are trendy right now! I’m a 40 year old mom, and after those first few days they look 100% natural, just with a higher arch (I have a flat brow line).

Anonymous wrote:I’ve never had it done but I like the look. I do a modified version on my brows that doesn’t last more than a few hours— comb them up with Vaseline to set them, apply a brow powder to fill, then set with hairspray. I think it makes my face look so much more polished and “done”. And I like how this look requires such minimal upkeep— just pluck a few strays and occasionally trim the tiniest bit for shape.
But I have been interested in doing brow lamination because it’s relatively inexpensive and it would really simplify my makeup routine if I didn’t have to do brows.
What did you wear your brows like before? Maybe you just aren’t used to it, or maybe you need a small adjustment to make them look right?

Why are most of the images I'm seeing online of men doing this?
