My tech company is Texas based and I was already planning on leaving but I sure as hell don’t want to work with another Texas based company.

Not enough time before the election.

It’s enough for me.

- small business owner in VA who will move my company and family if Youngkin does anything.

But will you move to Montgomery County, when places like Frederick, Howard, and Prince Georges are much more business-friendly? Elrich might sway people to come to Maryland, but I don't think he's going to be able to get them to locate in MoCo.

Depends on the business. HoCo is as business friendly as MoCo. Not much difference. MoCo is bigger and has a bigger pool of workers to choose from. Also closer to DC, and three airports. So, again, really depends on the type of business.

I was just saying to my spouse about the high tech company I work with that has a sizeable presence in Austin. They are going to allow their employees to move out of state, no questions asked.

And when they actually look at the costs and where the opportunities are, they will probably stay put

Sure you will.

+2 once you look at the costs, I’m sure you will backtrack

Taxes and red tape suck. A few Twitter and TikTok zingers won't be enough.
