I will definitely make it out business to joyride through there as much as possible, ban or not
Will also let every ATV and dirtbiker know about these streets. Would solve lots of issue for the RODC

Or a bike lane, like they are doing to narrow Arizona and make it safer.

Even better, make it a one way one lane road (and UT one lane the other direction) and then there’s plenty of room for a sidewalk, bike lane, and speed humps.

Since the CBR residents claim it’s about safety, everyone wins!

I suggest calling 311 on all the people illegally parking outside their home along chain bridge. There are plenty of local (non contractor) cars parked illegally at all times, narrowing the road in bad spots.

Additionally the people near the top, where there actually is a sidewalk! park blocking the sidewalk. I filed some entirely ignored complaints about this a while ago.

My usual route takes me down Foxhall, but I will now head down CBR at every opportunity. Streisand Effect in effect.

University Terrace goes to an elementary school, so does that mean no drop off and pick up?

Chain bridge is a dangerous road and it probably shouldn't be used as a cut through. But there's no reason to close it. Enforce the 20 mph speed limit, put in a sidewalk, etc.

It’s not possible for it to be a busy cut thru for the reason you just cited. But it does have a historical Black cemetery and should never be closed to the non residents

We should make it as busy as the SF Lombard St which BTW is NOT closed to the thru traffic
